FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (4/19/2006)

All Star Adventures announces New Zealand snowboard camp session with US Open champion Rob Kingwill

By now you’ve probably heard of SnowparkNZ on New Zealand’s south island. Photos of the pros riding there have been on the cover and in the pages of every snowboard magazine in the world; and why? Simply because Snowpark offers riders the best Superpipes and park terrain available during the Northern Hemisphere summer months. Cross south of the equator anytime from June through October and you are back to the winter. With winter weather in the air the Snowpark crew are able to construct massive jump lines and multiple halfpipes to entertain their visitors.

Another reason that pro-riders from around the world flock to Snowpark is Frank Wells. Frank is respected as one of the world’s best pipe and park shapers; he is the man that shapes the ESPN Winter X-Games halfpipes. Pro-riders come to ride Frank’s creation in New Zealand because they want the best place to train and film during the North American summer. If you were riding SnowparkNZ during the last two seasons at Snowpark you would have seen faces like Shaun White, Danny Davis, Antti Autti, Chad Otterstrom, Gretchen Bleiler, Steve Fisher, Andy Finch, Kier Dillon, Molly Aguirre, Mason Aguirre, Rob Kingwill, Tricia Byrnes, Scotty Lago, Hannah Teter, Elijah Teter, Abe Teter, Luke Matrani, Ross Powers, Tadashi Fuse, Kelly Clark, Tommy Czechin, and Kevin Pearce. This August will be no exception at Snowpark with more terrain features, and big Southern Hemisphere contests on like the Middle Earth Superpipe Championships and the Burton NZ Open; the big names will be back for more.

You can join pro-rider Rob Kingwill (“Kinger”) for the Avalon7 All Star Sessions at Snowpark in August, and stick around for his Powder Storming New Zealand tour in September. Rob has joined All Star Adventures for their third year of snowboard camps on New Zealand’s south island. Campers will get to snowboard, skateboard, and chill-out at the base lodge with their favorite pro snowboarders. Kinger will be joined by four time Camp of Champions coach of the year Dave Cashen, a pro rider from Whistler BC; pro rider come full time coach of advanced riders; and a professional coach who has trained some of the top names in halfpipe over the past 12 years.
