NORTH CAROLINA SKATEPARKS - METHODIST HOME SKATEPARK

Special supervised skating facility, lighted course. Charlotte is only publicly-owned facility for skateboarders and aggressive in-line skaters.

Features include a new 8' roll-in ramp, 6' vertical half-pipe, 6' bank ramps, a pyramid ramp and other street course challenges. Hosts open skating, tournaments and special events.

Monday - Friday -> 2:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Saturday -> 9:00 am - 4:30 pm
Sunday -> 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Rules and Regulation

1. All users must be registered and have waiver on file in the Recreation Center.
2. All users must pay the admission fee and sign-in prior to using the skatepark each day.
3. Proper safety equipment must be worn at all times.
- Skateboarders: helmet, shoes, elbow and knee pads.
- In-Line skaters: helmet, elbow and knee pads, and wrist guards.
- Bikers: helmet, shoes, elbow and knee pads.
4. Skaters must provide their own equipment.
5. No skating on handrails or steps.
6. No skates allowed in Recreation Center.
7. No smoking, glass containers, or spectators inside fenced area.
8. Maximum of 25 skaters inside fenced area at one time.
9. No profanity or vulgar dress allowed.
