Snow Park NZ provides the best freestyle terrain of anywhere in the world, hands down. Parks and pipes are shaped by Frank Wells, official shaper of the X-Games and many other top events around the globe. Frank shapes pipes and parks almost everyday of the year, so he's good. It does not get any better than this for snowboard camps in July and August!

Riding in New Zealand means you ride Winter and Spring conditions, no summer sludge or dirt here. We ride all day long, just like you would in the winter. And we get to lap the park and pipe on the chairlift! No slogging back up the hill to stand in line for that one jump or rail line. SnowparkNZ means quick laps in park and pipe terrain built by a master in park and park building! When the powder snow falls we'll head to Cardrona or Treble Cone for a day of freeriding powder, both ski areas offer massive freeriding terrain! No other snowboard camps can offer such diversity!

We transport you on a daily basis to the riding and to activities off hill, and on arrival and departure days we pick you up and drop you off at the Queenstown airport.

Enjoy comfortable lodging with amazing views, fun activities, skatepark, and much more - this is not your run of the mill snowboard camp with dirty bunk rooms and lousy food! Our accommodation is great and so is the food. Each day, our cook will serve up something new and delicious...it's always the talk of the day on the chairlift ("what do you think they'll make for dinner today?") All Breakfasts, Lunches and Dinners are included.

The climate is Winter/Spring in the mountains with frequent sunny days. The valley floor remains green and lush throughout much of the southern hemi winter opening up opportunities to skate, play golf, mountain bike, sky-dive, fly by wire, canyon swing, hike around in the rainforest, bungee-jump, kayak, ride in the hot seat of a rally car, jet boat or an abundance of other great activities!

Beware that the first time you walk up to the Snow Park, the pristine condition and extensive variety of terrain may be overwhelming.

World-class park and pipe shaper Frank Wells and team, along with imaginative Snow Park staff, create some of the most inventive and groundbreaking terrain features to date. The Superpipe, cut to World Cup standards, is the central feature of the park providing endless hours of riding pleasure.

Mixing it up is a succession of kickers and tabletops viewable from the lift so you can check out the action and plan your next run. On top of that there is also a variety of boxes and rails, an immaculate quarter pipe, hips, spines, step-ups, a cliff drop, and a wall ride. Snowpark even features a sound system pumping music throughout the venue. Head to the lounge and load some songs from your iPod into the system!

From first time park riders to the most advanced, SnowPark NZ offers something for everyone. Always a popular element of the park, the beginner jumps and boxes allow for easy and fast progression. If you don’t think you are ready for the Superpipe check out the learner’s pipe and hit the beginner boxes on your way back to the lift.

You can choose a new line each time you get off the lift. Improving and going bigger each run. When riding in such a relaxed and varied atmosphere, Snow Park NZ is somewhere that progress is inevitable.

Safety: Safety is a top priority throughout our days of fun activities. Our staff is First Aid certified and we take every precaution to avoid injury and incidents. In addition to our staff, Professional Ski Patrol service all of the resorts that we ride. The country of New Zealand as a whole is very safe. And, the community of Wanaka where we base our camp is a very small and safe community. We maintain a strict curfew and maintain constant supervision of everyone in our groups. Our staff, if separated maintains communication with 2-way radios and cell phones.
